People often say to me, “I don’t know how you do it all!” And the truth of the matter is, I don’t do it all at once, and I don’t do it alone.
Over the last years especially I’ve realised that success is not a solitary journey and there are many different people (personally, professionally and services that I use) that contribute to my success. And I’ve realised that many of the successful people that I look up to, are also not doing it alone.
I truely believe we’re not meant to navigate the ups and downs of life and business all by ourselves.
It really does take a village, a support system, and a network of incredible individuals and services to uplift us and propel us forward.
Each day I’m supported by many including my family, my friends cheering me on, minding my kids and listening to me. My counsellor, naturopath and chiro and other health practitioners keeping me sane and pain free. My assistant, my bookeeper and accountant keeping my businesses moving. My own business coaches and mentors always being available and giving me so much value. Not to mention my beautiful community of industry colleagues to bounce ideas off and collaborate with.
Learning to lean on the support of others, and utilise their capacity, expertise has filled the gaps, given me strength and allowed me to focus on what I do best.
Success really is not a solo venture. It’s a collaborative effort, a tapestry woven with the threads of love, support, and expertise from a multitude of people.
So don’t do what I used to do, and try to be a hero and do it all alone. Together we can go further, achieve more and feel happier.
